MV Int’l celebrates 16th Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 10: MV International School celebrated its 16th Annual Day “Zest-2022” with phenomenal enthusiasm and zeal at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, here today.
Dr Ravi Shanker Sharma, Director School Education Jammu presided over the function as chief guest, while Keshav Dutt Sharma, Chairperson DDC Samba was the guest of honour and Balwan Singh, Vice Chairperson, DDC Samba and DDC Members including Asha Rani, Sureiya Begum, Suresh Kumar, Kartar Chand, Avtar Singh, Asha Rani, Sarbjit Singh Johal, Anita Choudhary, Romesh Chander, Subash Chander, Sudershan Singh and Shilpa Dubey, were also present during the celebration as special guests.
Hira Lal Abrol, chairman; Savita Abrol, vice chairperson; Directors Gourav Abrol and Aakriti Abrol and Kundan Lal Dogra, Principal along with parents of the students graced the occasion.
Awards worth Rs 700000 were presented to the merit performers in academics and co-curricular activities. Seven Asus Laptops were presented to meritorious students who scored above 95 percent marks in the CBSE examinations, while 53 smart watches were presented to meritorious students.
The cultural program commenced with lighting of ceremonial lamps and divine invocation of Lord Hanuman by students.
The Director shared the glorious journey of the School, while the Chairman appreciated the hard work of students and staff in creating the success story of the School. The stage was set into action by chauvinistic vigour by students of class 7th to pay tribute to defence forces.
The music studio presented a fusion of Dogri, Sanskrit, Classical and Western music which was followed by a message on cleanliness and the grand finale of the presentation was a tribute to Sidhu Moosewala.
The School Principal presented the annual report and shared achievements and successes in academics and co-curricular activities. The 14 passed out students who have taken up admission in IITs, BITS Pillani, AIIMS and Delhi University as well as 20 sports achievers were felicitated.
The Maestros house lifted the Rolling trophy for being the best house in CCA and the Victors best house won the Rolling trophy for being the best house in sports for the session 2022-23.
The chief guest and the guest of honour gave away the prizes to the meritorious performers.
