JAMMU, Oct 21: The Inter-Collegiate Handball Men & Women Tournament, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, was declared open by Prof Neelam Saraf, Dean Academic Affairs and Prof Dhian S Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu in the presence of large number of players and officials, here today.
Prof Saraf was introduced with all the participating teams including players and officials before declaring the tournament open.
The tournament will be played up to October 24, 2013 in which seven teams of women’s section and eleven teams of men’s section are participating.
Meanwhile, the Inter-Collegiate Wrestling (Women) Tournament which had been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances will now be organized on October 24, 2013 at 10 am at Jammu University Gymnasium Hall. Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu will organize the event.
