Advay wins ‘IMOC Elitist’ title

JAMMU, Dec 14: Advay Sharma of Class VIII of DPS Jammu scored a commendable 93.25 percentile in the International Maths Olympiad Challenge, organized by Global Programs, Florida USA and was conferred with “IMOC Elitist’ title.
Earlier, Advay had cleared Round 1 of the Online Simulated Maths Olympiad (OSMO) at the international level with a 78.06 percentile, which gave him a direct entry to Round 3 of the Olympiad challenge.
It is noteworthy that the International Maths Olympiad Challenge helps meet the growing requirements of schools across the world that require global yet standardized Maths Olympiads. It is also pertinent to mention here that Delhi Public School Jammu was shortlisted as one of the selected few special schools across India and the only one in J&K to be nominated for participating in the OSMO challenge.
Along with the title of “IMOC Elitist”, Advay will receive a medal and certificate and will also be showcased on the organizer’s website and social media channels.
Principal-DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated Advay and his parents for this achievement.
