KCC&I anguished over new land grant rules

SRINAGAR, Dec 15: The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry expressed anguish over recent land grant rules.
A statement issued by the KCC&I said that it held an interactive meeting with various Trade Associations, Hoteliers, Restaurant Owners, and other Stake Holders on their request regarding the recent order NO. S.O 668 Dated 9th December, 2022 issued by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Revenue Department.
It said that the stakeholders expressed aguish over the government order and spoke about its adverse impact on livelihood and employability of the people in J&K.
The KCC&I president Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad assured the delegation that their concerns will be taken up with Government at highest level.
He urged Lt Governor and Chief Secretary to look into the matter so that livelihood of the people would not get effected.
