CAT Member inaugurates Lawyers Football Meet

JAMMU, Dec 16: Member of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Suresh Kumar Batra inaugurated Lawyers Football tournament, organised J&K High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA) Jammu for lawyers in presence of Bar Association president, MK Bhardwaj, here today.
The office bearers of the Association including Mohinder Pal Singh Palli, vice president, Surjeet Singh Andotra, general secretary, Aditya Sharma, joint secretary and Amandeep Singh, treasurer and other senior and junior members of the Association were also present during the event.
CAT Member Batra interacted with the participating lawyers during the event and laid emphasis on physical fitness for the lawyers and also appreciated the steps taken by the Bar Association Jammu by organizing such events which play an important role in daily life.
Bar Association president, Bhardwaj disclosed that till date more than 700 advocates had participated in different events of ‘Annual Sports Meet 2022’ from different districts of Jammu province who are the members of J&K High Court Bar Association.
He further said that nine teams of the lawyers have enrolled themselves for the Football tournament so far, which indicates that the advocates are concerned about their physical health.
