SRINAGAR, Dec 17: J&K Judo Association under the auspices of J&K Sports Council organized District Sub Senior Judo Championship at Indoor Sports Hall, Polo Ground, here today.
The championship was held under the chairmanship of Abdul Hamid Khan, vice president, J&K Judo Association. The bouts were officiated by Shafkat Shafi and Rahil Shafi.
In boys (30kg) Saifullah Arsheed-1st, Firdous-2nd and Eyaad Bin Shafkat-3rd, in 35kg, Huvaid Riyaz-1st, in 40kg, Sheikh Mohd Shuraim stood 1st, in 45kg, Rashid Yousuf-1st, Imaad-2nd and Rounak Khan-3rd, in 50kg, Zahid-1st, Mansoor-2nd and Rashid-3rd, in 55kg, Riyan Yousuf-1st and Obair Shagoo-2nd.
In girls (below 20 kg), Ajrah Manzoor-1st, Aiza-2nd and Aairah Farooq-3rd and Ayesha Binte Suhail-4th, in below 27kg, Maryam Javaid-1st, Mutaiba-2nd, Bareen-3rd and Irtiqa Aijaz-4th and in below 32kg, Ravneet Kour-1st, Fatima Mushatq-2nd, besides in below 36kg, Bauza Tariq-1st, Madiha-2nd, Anika Bukhari-3rd and Hurain Bilal-4th and in below 40kg: Aabroo Jan-1st, Liyana Tasaduq-2nd and Isra Arif-3rd.
