JAMMU, Dec 18: Genesis International Playway School celebrated its 2nd Annual Day on the theme ‘Gratitude to Covid Warriors’, here today.
Dr Sheetal Badyal, Associate Professor, SKUAST Jammu graced the occasion with her esteemed presence as the chief guest of the event. The guests were given a warm welcome by School Principal, Manpreet Kour.
The children gave enthralling performances in the form of skits, dances and dialogues offering their gratitude to all the Covid heroes and frontline workers who sacrificed their days and nights to serve humanity during pandemic times.
The event was an integration of love, creativity and hard work by the choreographer Sahil Kumar, who trained the small kids for the performances.
The chief guest presented the annual awards to the young students for various academic and co-curricular achievements and said that the entire event was superbly planned and executed by the entire GIPS team which showcased the excellence of the School.
The annual report and vote of thanks was presented by the School Principal, while the whole event was coordinated by educator Haneet Kour.
Parents felt elated as their little children gave a flawless performance and were filled with pride to witness their confidence and expression on stage.
