JAMMU, Dec 20: Government College of Education (GCoE) Jammu hosted a two day inter-college Basketball competition for both men and women at Govt MAM College, which was organised by Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ), here today.
The programme started with national anthem wherein participants from all the constituent colleges of the Cluster University of Jammu participated.
Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator, CLUJ was the chief guest in the event, while Dr Rupali Salathia, Physical Director, PSP GCW Gandhi Nagar was the guest of honor and Ramandeep Karalia, Physical Director of GCOE coordinated the overall event.
Players participated in the event with a lot of enthusiasm and played the sport in the spirit of the game. In men’s Basketball competition, the overall trophy was won by GGM Science College, while 2nd position was won by Govt. MAM College Jammu.
In women, the overall trophy was won by PSP GCW Gandhi Nagar, while 2nd position was bagged by Govt. SPMR College of Commerce.
Amit Kalsi, MosamiVerma, NIS and VineetPangotra from DYSS were the officials of the matches.
