RAJOURI, Oct 24: The police has arrested a villager for allegedly lodging a baseless FIR against a 15-year-old boy in his relations on rape charge.
The man identified as Zakir Hussain of Hubi in Kotranka has now been arrested. He had alleged that his 4-year-old daughter was sexually assaulted by her cousin. The police started investigation into the case. The girl was also sent for medical examination to Rajouri hospital. Later, it was established that charges were false and Zakir tried to malign the family just to settle scores. The police then arrested the father of the girl last evening. The FIR against the boy was dropped.
