JAMMU, Dec 25: The J&K Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages (JKAACL) here today successfully organised the third day of ongoing Poetry Festival dedicated to Kashmiri language.
Kuldeep Krishan Sidha, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner was chief guest on the occasion and the event was presided over by Prof. M. Zaman Azurdah, an acclaimed literary personality.
In his address, Prof. Azurdah congratulated Bharat Singh, Secretary (JKAACL) for taking up such endeavours.
Prof Ratan Talashi was the guest of honour.
Bharat Singh delivered welcome address and affirmed that JKAACL shall continue to work towards endeavours to promote regional culture.
Prem Nath Shad, Avtar Krishan Bhat Naaz, Wali Mohd Aseer Kishtwari, Moti Lal Masroof, Ashok Kumar Dhar Gowhar, R.L Jowhar, Satish Safeer, M.K Tickoo, Rajinder Aghosh, Chaman Pinjoori, R.L Talashi, Payare Hatash, Vijay Wali, Som Nath Sharma, Gopi Krishan Bahar, Kusam Dhar Sharda, Bimla Aima Misri, Nancy Chetna, Rajni Bahar, Ramesh Naresh, B.N Abhilash, Dolly Tickoo, A.K Zaroo, Tej Sagar, Prof. Shad Ramzan, Santosh Shah Nadaan and Prof. Mohd Zaman Azorda graced the event and spellbound the audience with their poetic renditions.
The audience enthusiastically relished the grandeur of the literary expression.
