SAMBA, Dec 25: Two days District Wushu Championship concluded at Panchayat Ghar Kartholi near Bari Brahmana, here today.
Bharti Club remained overall champion, while Appu Wushu Club and Wushu Academy of Samba stood 1st and 2nd runners up respectively.
Vijay Saraf, president of Wushu Association of J&K was the chief guest on the occasion. He congratulated the District Association for organising the championship. Suriender Singh Bagal (International Cricketer) was the guest of honour.
Abhishek Singh Jamwal- Gold medallist and international player was also present on the occasion along with Rajinder Singh, Kamal Kishore, Ishant Singh and Balwinder Singh.
The general secretary presented the vote of thanks and briefed the guests the achievements of Wushu in District Samba.
