MBS, KHC win semi-finals in 6th Shaheed Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Hockey Tourney

JAMMU, Dec 27: MBS Hockey Club Simbal and Khalsa Hockey Club (KHC) Gole Gujral today won their respective semifinal matches on 2nd day of 6th Shaheed Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Hockey Tournament, being organized by Kashmir Sikh Sangat under the aegis of Hockey J&K at KK Hakku Stadium, here.
Ist semifinal match of the Tournament was played between MBS Hockey Club Simbal and Dashmesh Hockey Club (DHC) Nanak Nagar and MBS Club won the match by 3-2. For MBS Club, the goals were scored by Saksham, Sukhpreet and Jaspreet while for Dashmesh Club, goals were scored by Rajveer Singh and Sikanderpal Singh. Chief Guest of the match was SSP Randheer Singh.
The 2nd semifinal match was played between Khalsa Hockey Club Gole Gujral and BBS Hockey Club Poonch. KHC Gole Gujral won the match by 2-1. For KHC, the goals were scored by Gaganpreet Singh and Simranpal Singh whereas for BBS Poonch, the only goal was scored by Arunpreet Singh. Chief guest of the second semifinal match was Balvinder Singh (vice president DGPC) and secretary DGPC was guest of honour.
Other present were Rajinder Singh Kuk (senior vice president, Hockey J&K), Babu Singh (president KSS), Tarlok Singh, Bupinder Singh, GS Bakshi, Popinder Singh, Manjeet Singh, Sewa Singh, TP Singh and all members of Kashmir Sikh Sangat.
