UDHAMPUR, Dec 30: Udhampur Police has booked a notorious and hardcore drug peddler under PIT NDPS Act.
The accused has been identified as Kewal Krishan alias Billa , son of Chanu Ram of Bhugterian, Post Office Chanunta, Tehsil Ramnagar, District Udhampur.
Giving details, SSP Udhampur, Vinod Kumar said that the said drug peddler was a habitual criminal and had been arrested a number of times in heinous nature criminal cases. A dossier with regard to his criminal activities was prepared and submitted before Divisional Commissioner Jammu who after careful consideration issued orders of his detention under PIT NDPS Act.
Warrant was executed by Insp Raghubir Singh, SHO Udhampur.
