JAMMU, Jan 4: Basketball women team of University of Jammu defeated DAV Jalandhar in the ongoing North Zone Inter-University Basketball Tournament at Govt Arts and Sports College Jalandhar, organized by MBPSU University Patiala, today.
The JU team defeated DAV Jalandhar in a nail biting match with a margin of 2 points with final score 45-43, wherein Kiran Kour, Komal, Sakshi, Chitreshi and Rimjim were the star performers.
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu lauded the efforts of the team and congratulated them for their excellent performance.
