JAMMU, Oct 29: Dr Sandeep Dogra, Assistant Professor, Government Medical College, Jammu was awarded membership of prestigious National Academy of Medical Sciences 53rd Annual Conference at All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Jodhpur, recently.
The entry into the Academy is the most cherished and coveted hallmark of distinction awarded in recognition of his outstanding professional excellence.
Dr Sandeep, an alumni of GMC, Jammu did his postgraduation from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram to pursue his research interests.
He was awarded Late Dr PM Khare Best Scientific Paper Award by Indian Association of medical Microbiologists in 2005. During his postgraduation, he worked on many International collaborative research studies between MGIMS and School of Public Health, University of California, Berkeley and San Francisco, California (USA) and McGill University, Montreal, Quebec (Canada). He main area of research is testing and standardizing novel diagnostic technologies in HIV and tuberculosis.
