KC International organizes Sur-Sangam

JAMMU, Oct 30: The 8th Inter-School Music Competition ‘Sur Sangam 2013’ was held in KC International School, here today.
Shantmanu, Divisional Commissioner of Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion. Thirteen leading schools of Jammu participated in the competition accompanied by their senior faculty members and students.
Welcoming the eminent music fraternity of Jammu, the school Vice-Principal, Nirmal Mahana said that Music is rightly coined as the elixir of life, adding that Music is a global language that has no boundaries and can truly bring the world at peace together.
KC International School participated in the capacity of guest performances only in all the categories.
Naresh Sharma, Sunil Sharma and Surpal were the panel of judges who declared the result.
Solo Category: Presentation Convent Sr Secondary School, 1st;  Jodhamal Public School, 2nd and Stephens International School, consolation prize.
Senior Category: DPS Jammu, 1st; Heritage School, 2nd and KC Gurukul School, consolation prize.
Junior Category: DPS Jammu, 1st; Air Force School, Satwari, Jammu, 2nd and Stephens International School, consolation prize.
Students of K C International School, Akshita Jain and Rajan Gupta were the masters of the ceremony.
