Painting competition on ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ held

JAMMU, Jan 23: Kendriya Vidyalaya, GC CRPF, Bantalab organised an on spot inter-school painting competition, wherein 100 students from 10 different schools (10 students from each school) studying in Classes- IX to XII participated, here today.
The theme of the competition was about becoming an ‘Exam Warrior’ based on the book written by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The participant schools were Kendriya Vidyalaya, GC CRPF Bantalab, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Nagrota, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Gharota, Army Public School, Domana, Border Security Forces School, Paloura, St. Xavier Convent School, Barnai, Anuradha Mission School, Bantalab, May Fair International School, Bantalab, KC International School, Paloura and Govt. Mixed Higher Secondary School, Bantalab.
Suraj Prasad (Principal, KV Bantalab) was the chief guest on the occasion. The participants were provided the art.
Before the onset of the competition, the host School Principal motivated the students on the ‘Mantras of the Prime Minister’. He said that the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi started this unique initiative ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ to help the students and parents to reduce the examination stress and celebrate it like a festival.
The best five were selected and presented merit certificates. The paintings made by Manya Sharma from KC International School , Riya Kapta from KV Bantalab, Nitin Banotra from KV Nagrota, Jeevika Manhas from BSF Paloura and Mukesh Kumar from APS Damana were adjudged first, second, third, fourth and fifth respectively.
All the participants were given participation certificates. The book written by the Prime Minister was presented to all the participants. The chief guest complimented the winners and the participants for displaying amazing works of art.
