REASI, Nov 1: Keeping in view the present security situation, border tensions and forthcoming festivals, a mock drill for dealing with severe Law and Order problem was conducted by District Police in collaboration with District Administration, CRPF 126th Battalion, IR-Ist Battalion, Counter Insurgency Force (U) and Fire service authorities.
District Police formulated an elaborate plan to deal with severe Law and Order situation and the mock drill was based on this plan.
The plan involved deployment of police manpower and resources at key strategies points so as to prevent Law and Order situation from turning violent.
The ultimate objective was to secure the lives and property of the people in such situations and inculcate confidence among general public.
The mock drill exercise was conducted under the supervision of District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police.
