JAMMU, Jan 27: R M Public School (RMPS) organized a ‘Baal Mela’ in the School premises to celebrate its 10th foundation day.
In the ‘Baal Mela’, chairman of the School Rameshwar Mengi, Director Rakshan Mengi, vice-principal Dr Harvinder Kaur, administrator Surinder Singh and members from sister concern, Shiksha Niketan School, were also present.
An array of stalls with a variety of spicy and savory mouth-watering food items and exciting games like ‘Get the key lock’, ‘Shooting the cards with gun or catty, ‘Perfect pilot’, ‘Mini golf’ and ‘Feel the cricket fever’ were the main attraction of the ‘Baal Mela’.
Apart from this, swings, horse ride, camel ride and elephant ride were also there. The stalls displaying different items of children’s interest were established with the help of the school teachers. Students were given the money coupons to depend on whatever they wanted.
Dressed in bright clothes, the children cheerfully hopped from one stall to the other relating the snacks to their heart’s content. Children had a frolicking time taking part in games and enjoying various eatables organized.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal RMPS and members of sister concern said that through such events, school wants to hone the life skills of the children. Such days of fun and enjoyment are aimed towards giving children a chance to enjoy their childhood, they added.
