JAMMU, Jan 29: Adil Rashid Shah, general secretary today flagged off the J&K junior Carrom team for the upcoming 47th Junior National Carrom Championship, scheduled to be held at Dadar in Mumbai from February 1 to 4.
The team was flagged off in presence of other members of the J&K Carrom Association including Arif Sultan (Secretary) and Dawar Rashid (Member). The championship is being hosted by Maharashtra Carrom Association under the auspices of All India Carrom Federation, New Delhi
The eight team members were Zaid Bin Ajaz, Haroon Malik, Abdul Basit, Hammad Raashid, Shahid Ahmad, Faisal Khan and Shahzeb in the men’s team, while Shakir Shahr will accompany the team as manager. Adil Rashid Shah, general secretary of the J&K Carrom Association will also accompany the team.
