DODA, Feb 1: A Junior Engineer (JE) lost his life in a road accident here today.
Police sources informed that the JE has been identified as Anil Manhas, son of Kanwal Singh Manhas, resident of Mund Dhar, Kastigarh in Doda.
They also said that the mishap occurred when the ill fated car of Maruti Swift make bearing registration number JK06A/3484, driven by Anil Manhas was going from Doda to Kastigarh and the driver lost control over the vehicle near Malwas resulting which the vehicle rolled down 200-300 feet leaving the JE dead on spot. Police has registered a case in this regard at Police Station Doda in FIR no. 21/2023 Under Section 279, 304-A IPC.
