Modi’s rally in Jammu on Dec 1

JAMMU, Nov 2: The BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will address the Party rally at Jammu on December 1.
According to highly placed sources in Party, the Committee finalizing the tour programme of high profile BJP leader in a meeting at Union Capital cleared December 1 for Mr Modi’s rally at Jammu.
Sources however said that the venue will be decided by the State Party leadership in consultation with administration and security agencies later as Mr Modi is in high security risk category among the national leaders.
Mr Modi the highest crowd puller in BJP has earlier addressed about a dozen of Party rallies in different parts of the country which were attended to by record number of people especially the youth.
Sources said the BJP State leadership will meet after Diwali to chalk out Party programme for the rally and take necessary measures to put up a good show. Party leadership will hold meeting of office bearers and visit the length and breadth of the State to campaign for the Party programmes and policies to ensure that a good number of people attend the rally.
It may be recalled that after the blasts in Mr Modi’s Patna rally on October 27, the BJP leader has been put in highest security category like Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and BJP stalwart L K Advani.
The venue where Mr Modi will address the rally will be sanitized fully and sniffer dogs will be pressed into service for proper security of BJP leader.
