JAMMU, Nov 4: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by a social activist Ashok Sharma challenging Rule 17 of Reservations Rules, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice M M Kumar and Justice Hasnain Massodi today granted last opportunity to the State for filing reply within four weeks.
After hearing Advocate Kuldip Singh Parihar appearing for the PIL whereas Senior AAG Gagan Basotra for the State, the DB observed, “Senior Additional Advocate General has requested for some more time to file reply as such last opportunity is granted to the State for filing reply within four weeks”.
