JAMMU, Feb 4: The team of Geological Survey of India (GSI) experts that reached Thathri area of district Doda yesterday has started its work today.
It is pertinent to mention here that at village Navi Basti in Thathri the land has been sinking due to which residential houses and other structures have developed cracks.
Vishesh Mahajan, DC Doda informed that the GSI team today collected samples from the affected land and they will submit their report in a day or two after which next course of action will be decided.
He said that district administration has shifted residents of the affected houses to safer locations and entire administration is in a ready mode to extend all possible help to the locals in the hour of need.
