SS Sodhi elected Rifle Association Prez

JAMMU, Feb 6: Surinder Singh Sodhi has unanimously been elected as president of J&K Rifle Association, here today.
DGP Dilbag Singh has been nominated as patron- in- chief, while Kuldeep Singh Jamwal as chairman and Sharat Chander was announced as CEO of the Association.
The election of the Association was conducted at Police GO’s Mess Gulshan Ground Jammu under the supervision of Returning Officer, Anshuja Tak nominated by J&K Sports Council.
Amjed Parvez Mirza-IPS (Retd) was re-elected as general secretary, whereas Arun Mansotra was elected as treasurer, Sohan Lal Sharma, Paramjeet Singh, Ashok Kumar and Samar Dev Singh were elected as vice presidents of the Association, Manu Partap Singh Wazir as joint secretary and Anupam Sambyal, Upinderjit Singh, Deepika Singh, Sharuti Sharma and Nirmaljit Singh were nominated as executive members of the Association.
During the election, an advisory committee was also framed wherein Jai Pal Singh was appointed as chairman and VS Pathania and Sukhvir Singh were members, while in technical committee, Rajesh Virdhy was nominated as chairman and Anu Sharma, Vijay Kumar, Tarun Singh Jamwal and Vishal Mehra were the members of the committee.
