JAMMU, Feb 8: A delegation of Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sabha (KKHMS) under of leadership of its chairman, Ramesh Chander Mahajan called on Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu , here, today and submitted a memorandum to him.
The delegation apprised him about the burning issues of Kashmiri migrants and non migrants of Kashmir Valley.
The delegation demanded enhancement of monthly cash relief to relief holders, 40% of permanent share in job reservation and creation 35000 new posts in various Central and UT Government departments for migrant and non migrant unemployed youths, holding of on the spot recruitment drive in police and para military forces for unemployed youths in camps and non camps, issuance of the pending list of all beneficiaries who have submitted the form in the Relief Department in 2019 and applied for the scheme under special financial package of PM’s self employment & skill development for starting up the businesses.
The delegation appealed the Government to provide relief to left out permanent residents the non migrants Hindus families of Kashmir Valley, implement the same at par SRO 425 of October 2017 to non migrants Kashmiri Hindus who did not leave Kashmir Valley since 1990 , So that they can get benefits of jobs and justices in Valley through PM packages, relocation with implementation of transfer policies with issuance of transfer orders in favour of suffering PM, non PM package and reserved category employees from Kashmiri valley to various Jammu departments or to the Relief organization (M) Jammu.
It also demanded salaries of eight months should be released to the package and reserved category employees so that they can discharge their social responsibilities towards their families and celebrate the holy festival of Maha Shivratri, release of honorarium to migrant Anganwadi workers, payment of Rs 3000 as lump sum Medical Allowance to pensioners, registration facilities should be provided to left out migrants under Ayushman Bharat scheme, release of compensation and ex-gratia in favour of all migrants who have suffered heavy losses in shape of their property during last 33 years of turmoil and eviction of all unauthorized occupants and encroachment, declaring the distress sale null and void besides passage of Shrines and Temples Bill.
