Jammu, Feb 8: A special function of Poetry Meet was held on the occasion by three literary organizations ‘Adbi Kunj J&K’, ‘Jammu Cultural Forum’ and ‘Dogri Sanstha Jammu’ in the premises of Dogri Bhawan Karan Nagar Jammu jointly presided over by the famous personality Dr. Veena Gupta.
Sham ‘Sajan’ the Head of the Cultural Forum conducted the poetry meet. Vijay Singh Samyal Retd. Director Door darshan Jammu was the chief guest of this literary function hold under the Supervision of Prof. Lalit Magotra President Dogri Sanstha Jammu and Sham ‘Talib’ .president ‘Adbi Kunj J&K’ Jammu.
All the Poets presanted their beautiful and very interestrd poems and Ghazals in the praise and definition of ‘Basant Panchami’ in Hindi, Urdu, Dogri, Punjabi and Gojri languages.
The poets who participated in the poetry-evening were, Lalit Magotra, Aarsh’ Dalmotra, Sham ‘Talib’, Sham ‘Sajan’ Santosh Shah ‘Nadaan’, Sushil ‘Begana’, Suraj ‘Rattan’ Harjit Singh ‘Uppal, Sarwar Chohan ‘Habeeb’, Pyaasa ‘Anjum’, Ramesh ‘Raaz’ Kishtwari, Dr.’Chanchal’ Bhassin, Bashir-Ul-Haq ‘Bashir’, Ashok Sharma ‘Paras’,Abdul Qader ‘Kundfria’ and Balvinder Singh ‘Deep’ ‘Jammu’. This Programme of ‘Basant Milan’ of poetry-evening was concluded by the Sham Saajan with the vote of thanks.
