JAMMU, Feb 8: Sai Shyam Educational Society Ghou-Manhasan celebrated its 21st Foundation Day, here today.
The programme started with flag hoisting ceremony by head boy and head girl Muskan, followed by lighting of traditional lamp by Rajinder Kour, Vice-Principle Sai Shyam College of Education, Anita Ganjoo, Principal Sai Shyam School and other faculty members.
In his welcome address, JN Bhat Vice-Principal Sai Shyam Public School said the essence of this Institution is to impart quality education to remote areas of Ghou-Manhasan and its adjoining areas.
In her address, Principal Anita Ganjoo stressed upon the students to dream big and work hard for achieving the goal. She further said organizing such programs develops communication skills, builds team work and creates a sense of belongingness among students.
Kanchan Sharma (Lecturer Sai Shyam College of Education) presented the vote of thanks. The whole programme was anchored by students of the School, Janvi and Anchal.
