JAMMU, Nov 5: Ace International footballer and former member of Indian Football Team, Arun Malhotra will shortly be holding a football workshop-cum-camp for Under-19 boys at Doda. Arun agreed to hold the said workshop on a request from Ranjeet Kalra member BCCI, State Sports Council and Chairman of the newly constituted District Sports Council, Doda.
Kalra said that Arun who has represented India in many international tournaments and has also played for prestigious clubs East Bengal, Air India and Mahindra United, has agreed to our proposal to hold the technical football workshop for the young footballers, to teach them the finer points of the game and tap talent in hilly areas.
While welcoming Arun’s decision, Secretary Sports Council, Dalip Thusoo has also pledged full support to the proposed workshop
It is pertinent to mention here that Arun is a State Awardee and has been conferred with Sher-e-Kashmir Award for Outstanding Sportspersons for his achievements.
