MENDHAR, Feb 9: A blood donation camp was organized at Government Sub District Hospital Mendhar on the direction of Director Health Services Jammu and Chief Medical Officer Poonch, Dr Anis Altaf Nabi.
BCTV was provided by Directorate of Health services Jammu. A total 34 units of blood of different groups, was collected and send to Blood Bank of Raja Sukh Dev Singh District Hospital, Poonch.
The blood was donated by BSF, Romeo Force (6 Sector) personnel and the Health staff under the supervision of BMO Mendhar Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan.
A team from Blood Bank Unit of District Hospital Poonch was deputed for the camp. The blood so donated may save many lives in accidents, surgeries and other Medical emergencies.
