JAMMU, Feb 9: Bishnah Police today arrested three absconders who were evading their arrests since long time.
“Acting on specific inputs regarding three absconders, a Police team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and assisted by SHO Bishnah Inspector Vikram Sharma raided at the suspected locations in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bishnah and finally arrested them,” a Police spokesman said.
He said while one absconder was evading her arrest since 12 years in a case FIR Number 188/2011 U/S 447 RPC of Police Station Bishnah, other two were evading their arrests since 1 year in a case FIR Number 176/2022 U/S 379/420/467/468/120-B IPC of Police Station Bishnah
As per the spokesman, the absconders were identified as Johinder Kumar son of Mulkh Raj and Ashwani Kumar son of Madan Lal, both residents of Deoli (Bishnah) and Shareffia Bibi wife of Mohd Yaqoob, resident of Madana Khara (Samba).
He said that a warrant was also issued against the absconders U/S 512 CrPC by Court of JMIC Bishnah and they were finally produced before the Court.
