RAJOURI, Feb 15: Thannamandi Sports Club sailed into the finals of the ongoing Thannamandi Premier Cricket League by defeating Rah-e-Haq Club in semifinals by 97 runs, here today.
Thannamandi Sports Club captain Sajid Mir won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, Thannamandi made 166 runs, which was not chased by Rah-e- Haq Club and bowled out at 69 runs only.
Principal GDC Thannamandi, Prof Dr Farooq Ahmed, Tehsildar Thannamandi Sahil Ali Shah and SHO Thannamandi Shoket Hussain were the guests of the event.
Prof Dr Farooq Ahmed asked youth to participate in games and sports and appreciated the organizing committee for conducting the tournament.
