JAMMU, Nov 8: District Yoga Championship concluded at Handa College of Education, Sainik Colony, here today.
Earlier, the Championship was inaugurated by Dr Vikram Handa, MD Handa College of Education.
Over 100 students vying for the top honours participated in the Championship.
In 8-11 girls, Seerat Swar bagged first place, while the second and the third spot went to Simran Kumari and Himanshika Sharma.
Shivaye Swar clinched first place in 8-11 boys category, while the second and third positions were claimed by Sunita Dubey and Ranjeet Singh respectively.
In 11-14 girls, Aashvi Mahajan, Simran Bhat and Anu Sharma claimed the first three spots, while in 11-14 boys, the first three places were bagged by Tarun Kumar, Nadeem Hussain and Baljinder Singh respectively.
Harshita Sharma, Akanksha Bhat and Muskan Rajput clinched the first three slots in 14-17 girls, while Akash Sharma bagged first place in 14-17 boys category and the second and third spot went to Mohd Hussain and Sandeep Kumar respectively.
In 17-21 boys, Ankleshwar, Rohit Chouhan and Himanshu Bhat bagged the first three positions, while in 21-25 boys, Ranjeet Singh, Shivam Gupta and Sahil Mehra claimed first, second and third position respectively.
