JAMMU, Nov 9: Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, organized an Inter-House Singing Competition in its newly constructed auditorium, here today.
Children of Agni, Akash, Prithvi and Trishool Houses gave sizzling and spell bound performance by enthralling the audience with their melodious songs.
The competition was conducted in two categories of Solo and Group.
While speaking, Gaurav Charak, Principal of the School said that the aim of the competition was to harness the inner talent of the students so that they could feel proud and to be more encouraged for their future ventures.
In Solo performance, Abhishek Gill (9th) of Trishool House stood first, while Aditya Yadav (6th) of Agni House and Vanshika (9th) of Akash House got second and third positions respectively.
In Group performance, Akash House bagged first position, Prithvi House got second position and Agni House stood third.
The jury members, who adjudged the performance of the students were Rajni Sharma, Rekha Mehra and Rakesh Kumar.
Among others present were Anku Charak, Vice Principal, Akashdeep Raina Incharge, Nitin Jamwal and Pankaj Mehra.
The stage was managed by Sandeep Zutshi.
