UDHAMPUR, Feb 26: Junior School of Delhi Public School Udhampur celebrated ‘Urja-Manifestation of Sanctity Annual Day cum Recognition Day’ here today.
The dignitaries who witnessed the program were Balwant Singh Mankotia as chief guest, Pro Vice Chairman of the School Dr JC Gupta, MD Vivek Gupta, Director Academics Sucheta Gupta, Members of Managing Committee Mridul Gupta and Sunita Gupta along with the propitious Principal Dr. Kunal Anand.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp followed by the welcome song presented by the little munchkins. The tiny tots left everybody spell bound as they danced on tunes of some vibrant music.
The chief guest while addressing the gathering highlighted the theme ‘Urja’ and talked about the importance of positive energy of love in the life of students. It is important for the parents to give love, warmth and tenderness to kids.
The Pro Vice Chairman in his address congratulated all the young graduates and thanked all the parents for always being there with School, while the Principal appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers for showcasing such an exuberant program. He stated the reason for the success of any institution is the collaboration between School and parents.
A month wise School report highlighting the activities that took place all year round was also shared with the audience by HM Senior School, Bhanvi Sharma. This was followed by the distribution of graduation certificates to the tiny tots.
The programme culminated with the vote of thanks by the Headmistress Shivane Koul. The whole program was coordinated by chief coordinator Lakhvinder Kour and the set design and concept was designed by chief coordinator CCA Rakhi Gupta.
