Vivek, Amit represent JK in All India Double Wicket Cricket C’ship

JAMMU, Feb 27: Vivek Suri and Amit Kumar represented J&K in All India Double Wicket Cricket Championship which was inaugurated today at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Ghaziabad.
The Tournament is being organized by Board for Veterans Cricket in India (BVCI) under the presidentship of Nitin Gadkari (Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways).
Praveen Tyagi (working president of BVCI) along with other National executive members was present at the inaugural function of the “Umesh Cup” All India Double Wicket Cricket Championship.
Vivek Suri (general secretary, J&K Veterans Cricket Association) and Amit Kumar (vice president) are participating in this prestigious championship which will be played from 27 February to 5th March at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Ghaziabad
In this championship, 96 teams representing UP, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Vidharbh, Goa, Gujarat, Mumbai, Chennai, J&K, Hyderabad, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra comprising of current and former Ranji players of over 40 years are participating.
