JIAR organises Hackathon competition

JAMMU, Feb 28: CSIR Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Jammu today organised Hackathon competition for empowering youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
The event was held in the premises of IIIM Jammu aiming at strengthening biotech based Startup Ecosystem & Skill Development in J&K.
Participants came from all over J&K with startup ideas which could bring a promising product/technology in the market. All the participants from JIAR gave the Innovative pitch of their respective business ideas. Faculty and students of JIAR won 4 out of 6 prizes.
Dr. Sandeep and Dr. Shrey, Assistant Professors of JIAR bagged 1st prize, Dr Mansi, Medical Officer, JIAR Hospital got 2nd prize, Manik, Harsimran and group, final year BAMS, JIAR got 2nd prize and Bintul Huda and Sunaria Bhagat, final year BAMS, JIAR bagged 3rd prize.
All the participants were felicitated with the appreciation Certificates and Trophies.
The event was highly informative and inspiring for the budding entrepreneurs. This event was helpful in boosting the confidence of participants.
