Goenka organises Flower Arrangement Competition

JAMMU, Nov 11:  An Inter-House Flower Arrangement Competition was organized at GD Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust, here.
The competition involved aesthetic taste as flowers spread beauty and fragrance wherever they grow, add colour to life and relax and rejuvenate everyone. The students were to arrange flowers into two categories of Ikebana and Fresh Flower Arrangement.
The students who won prizes in the Ikebana included Anmol Rathore of 10th, who bagged Ist place, Vishali Koul of the same class, who clinched 2nd spot and Diksha Parihaar of 10th, who claimed 3rd position.
In the Fresh Flower Arrangement Category, Ist  prize was given to Sidharth Sharma of class 10th and Vandit Bhakri of class 6th. The consolation prize went to Shivasini Bhat of class 10th.
Speaking on the Occasion, Principal, Jyoti Asija said that through these competitions the students learn new skills and also develop an aesthetic sense.
