JAMMU, Nov 11: Range Police Volleyball Friendship Cup tournament will be organized by Range Police Headquarter Jammu from November 14, 2013, under Civic Action Programme (CAP) of J&K Police.
The competition will be held on November 14-15 at Hiranagar, 23-24 at Akhnoor; November 30 and December-1 at Kathua; December 7-8 at Samba and December 14-15 at Jammu.
The Tournaments will be organized under the overall supervision of Shakeel Ahmed Beigh, DIG Jammu.
The objective of the Cup is to provide platform to the youth of the far-flung areas alongwith city youth to display their hidden talent and channelize their energy in a right direction.
The Range Police Teams from Colleges, University apart from local clubs have been invited to register their names for participation to the concerned police stations by or before November 13 positively.
Only 8 teams of every station will be registered for the participation.
The matches will be played on knockout basis.
The organizers will provide uniforms to all the participating teams.
