Theft case solved, accused arrested

RAJOURI, Mar 8: The police worked out a case of theft abd arrested the accused and made recovery of stolen property from his possession. The stolen property recovered valued around Rs 75,000, the police said.
Official sources said that police in Rajouri city worked out this case of theft and arrested the accused. It said February 25, an information was received at Police Post City Rajouri that during early morning hours, incidents of theft took place in the town with various packed articles (clothes, shoes) of traders in ward 08, City Chowk and slaughter house area were stolen. The burglar had picked up packed clothes and shoes.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 83/2023 was registered at PS Rajouri and a police team headed by PSI Surjeet Sargotra under the supervision of DySP Hq Chanchal Singh and ASP Rajouri Vivek Shekhar launched investigation. During probe several suspects were picked up and put to sustained questioning and on the basis of human intelligence one person namely Muzahir Hussain (18), son of Makhna, resident of village Dagaani Chingus, at present Jawahar Nagar was zeroed in who during sustained questioning confessed his crime.
On his disclosure stolen items have been recovered which include 04 packed articles and boxes having clothes, shoes and few other articles.
