Jammu, Nov 12: A State Level Wrestling Competition was jointly organised by the Rashtriya Rifles based at Reasi, J&K Police and the Mahore Civil Administration Department at Mahore in Reasi.
A total of 40 wrestlers from all over the State participated, which included famous wrestlers Binia Min of JKP, Billu Pahalwan from Jammu, Kulvir Singh from Jammu and Murad Ali from Jammu. 4 wrestlers from Punjab, which included the famous Rehmat Ali also participated.
In a keenly contested final bout, Rehmat Ali defeated Kulvir Singh after almost a 15 minute fight. The competition was witnessed by arround 3500 spectators with great enthusiasm.
Abdul Gani Malik, MLA, Mahore, Sharief Chauhan, SSP Reasi, and the Commanding Officer of Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Sarh were among the dignitaries present on the occasion.
