Divya blanks Ashok 3-0

CHENNAI, June 17: Former national champion Ashok Shandilya of Mumbai suffered a 0-3 loss to Divya Sharma in Group A in the ASCA International Snooker Championship at the Andhra Club, here today.
Divya Sharma stunned compatriot Ashok 58-36, 65-21, 71-7 with a solid break of 54 in the third frame.
In a group-D match, Manish Jain recorded the highest break of the day with a 66 in his match against Himanshu Jain, while Laxman Rawat and Kamal chawla beat their respective rivals in different groups with frame score of three-one with a break of 60 each.
