JAMMU, Nov 15: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president HL Chatta in which anti-national statement given by the separatist leader Sayed Ali Shah Geelani about accession of J&K with Indian union to Sartaz Aziz, Advisor to Prime Minister of Pakistan was condemned.
While speaking, Chatta criticized Geelani’s statement and said he (Geelani) always favoured gun-culture in the State. He said that the accession of J&K with Indian union in 1947 by the then ruler and agreed by the State Governments since then is fit and final and no on the can separate it now. He added that Geelani has no place in the civilized society.
RK Raina, senior vice president, said that the gun-culture in the Kashmir Valley has been brought by separatists/anti national elements, which has caused blood shed. He asked the State and the Central Governments to take serious note of such remarks of anti national leaders.
Bharat Bhushan Bhat, Ravi Raina, president, ASKPC youth wing, Veena Gurtoo, president, Women Cell, PL Ganjoo, SL Majoo and AK Dhar were also present.
