Air Force Station organizes Cycle Rally

Cycle Rally being flagged off in Jammu on Monday.

JAMMU, Nov 18: Air Force Station Jammu organized a Cycle Rally, today as part of the Air Force anniversary on completing 82 glorious years and also the silver Jubilee of the 130 Helicopter Unit.
The Rally was flagged off by Air Cmde P E Patange, YSM, VM, the Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jammu.
The Rally is planned from Jammu to Yol Cantt, Dharamshala and back in five days.
The Rally is led by Wing Commander Suresh Tiwari, Commanding Officer of 130 Helicopter Unit, along with 30 air warriors from the Air Force Station.
The expedition is the first of its kind ever planned in the history of Air Force Station Jammu, wherein the cyclist would traverse a total distance of 500 km in five days in the difficult hilly terrain of Himachal Pradesh.
Addressing the participants and all the air warriors of the Air Force Station Jammu, Air Cmde Patange extorted upon the importance of the adventure activities in the life of an air warrior and emphasized on the importance of such events.
