Gursagar to be SDP candidate for Jammu-Poonch LS seat

JAMMU, Nov 19:- Socialist Democratic Party (SDP) today declared S Gursagar Singh provincial president of its Youth Wing as its candidate for Lok Sabha elections from Jammu Poonch Parliamentary Constituency.
The announcement to this effect was made by SDP State president, Dr Darakshan Andrabi at a press conference here along with other leaders of her organization.
She said out of six Lok Sabha seats SDP will contest for two Parliamentary seats of Jammu and three of Kashmir and the candidates for remaining seats will be announced soon.
Dr Andrabi said that her Party which is in political field for over last eight years now has been given feed back by the public of the State that the masses want a change at the political level as they are fed up with rising corruption, price hike, unemployment and dynastic politics.
She said SDP is gaining ground in the State and Gursagar Singh will visit every nook and corner of the Parliamentary Constituency in remaining time to garner public support and vote for himself.
She said SDP is a youth based Party and it is going to field the youth in the Lok Sabha elections. She appealed the people of the State to provide a chance to them to serve the public by casting their valuable vote in favour of Party candidates.
She said the Lok Saba elections will be trend setter for the next year’s Assembly poll.
Gursagar Singh said that he will go to people for vote with party’s vision of development.
SDP leaders Abhay Singh Wazir, Ajay Kumar, Deepu Ronetra, Sanjay Manhas, Bal Ji Hazari, Sachin Jamwal, Vishal Choudhary, Kamaljeet Singh and Subash Baba were present in the press conference.
