JAMMU, Nov 20: The students of Law Department in Jammu University today organized a guest lecture by prominent lawyer and former Advocate General Mohd Aslam Goni on the topic `Professional Ethics’.
In his lecture, Mr Goni apprised the budding lawyers about ethics to be followed in the course of their career to achieve success as an advocate. He shared several instances from his vast experience and knowledge about the relationship between ethics and practice of law.
The programme was presided over by HoD Law Department Prof Kulwant Singh while organizing secretary of the event, Anurag Sharma, a student of the Law Department, presented vote of thanks.
The lecture was followed by a brief interactive session with the speaker who highlighted the role of educational institutions in making good lawyers.
