DODA, Apr 8: A friendly cricket T-20 match was played between Fearless Knight Team and GMC Doda Team at Sports Stadium Doda, here today.
Toss was won by GMC and it opted to bat first and set a target of 135 runs in 20 overs. Fearless Knight Team chased down the target in 14.3 overs and won the match by 5 wickets.
Ashok Sharma was adjudged as Man of the Match for his all round performance as he scored 56 runs in 29 balls and Sonu scored 25 runs from 17 balls, Vikas Manhas 5 runs from 5 balls, Ashu 6 runs from 10 balls, Nittan Jaral 1 run from 6 balls, Sorab Katoch 8 runs from 14 balls and Dev Thakur scored 9 runs from 8 balls.
In bowling performance by Fearless Knight Team, Vice Captain, Ranvir Singh Jaral took 1 wicket in 3 overs and gave 20 runs, Sorab Katoch took 2 wickets in 4 overs and gave 23 runs, Harjot Singh took 1 wicket in 4 overs and gave 21 runs, Sonu took 2 wickets in 4 overs and gave 18 runs thereby displaying best bowling performance and Nitten Jaral took 1 wicket in 2 overs and gave 15 runs and Ashu in 3 overs gave 23 runs.
The best batting performance was displayed by Ashok Sharma in this match and the winning shot was played by Dev Thakur.
