Kolkata, Nov 21: Captain Laxmi Ratan Shukla’s 163-ball knock of 155 runs was the only major attraction in Day 1 as Bengal sent to bat first were 303 all out against Saurashtra in the Ranji Trophy’s Group B play at Eden Gardens here today.
At the end Saurashtra were yet to open the score with batting B Chauhan and S Jogiyani when the stumps were closed for the day with ten wickets in hand.
