Khushi, Ruhi to represent India in Roll Ball World Cup

JAMMU, Apr 11: Khushi Gupta and Ruhi Rajput from Jammu and Kashmir have been selected to represent India in the Roll Ball World Cup, hosted by India at Pune from April 21 to 26.
Khushi Gupta is pursuing Master degree in Psychology, while Ruhi Rajput is a BAMS student at SLN Ayurvedic College and Hospital.
Khushi Gupta has already won 5th edition of the Roll Ball World Cup held in 2019 along with a number of medals at the National events, while on other hand, Ruhi Rajput has won gold medals in the 3rd Asian Roll Ball Championship 2nd Federation Cup in 2018.
On being selected for the Indian team, both the players were honoured by BJP Sports Cell Convener Sumit Sharma along with BJP J&K executive team sports cell. “Both the athletes have been selected considering their performance at the National level and subsequently at the ongoing National coaching camp,” Sumit said.
Office bearers of BJP Sports Cell including Ravinder Singh, Surjeet Choudhary, Amit Mahajan and Rajat Sharma were present during the event.
