JAMMU, Apr 19: The 23rd Annual Day of Bal Bharti Public School (A unit of Balgran- A Charitable Home for Destitute Children, Channi Rama, Jammu) was celebrated in the premises of Balgran, here today.
Dr. Parikshat Singh Manhas, Chairman J&K Board of School Education was the chief guest. On behalf of the governing body of Balgran and management committee of the School, A.K. Khajuria, president Balgran welcomed the chief guest, while Principal Urmil Arora presented the annual report of the School.
Students of the School staged various cultural and dance items starting with “Saraswati Vandana”. The chief guest gave prizes to those children who excelled in various extra-curricular activities and all round activities.
A Memento was also presented to the chief guest by AK Khajuria.
The chief guest assured all possible assistance to Balgran/Bal Bharti Public School.
The vote of thanks was presented by VK Raina, honorary secretary of Balgran.
